MCL-10486minecraft-launcher 2.1.2339 hangs trying to load / run any version of minecraft
What: Minecraft-beta.deb version 2.1.2339 (06 Feb)
Upgraded working minecraft-launcher from 2.1.2033 (19 Dec) and launcher will no longer run any version of minecraft - it hangs at "Preparing..."
launcher_log.txt ends with:

Reverting to the 2.1.2033 launcher package resolves the issue - it works as expected.

Sounds like the Windows version of MCL-10486
Please attach the entire log file.
Also, there is a newer beta version: 2.1.2360. Please see if that fixes the problem.
Attached full launcher_log.txt after waiting a full five minutes after pressing "Play", and then closing that launcher window. Also adding Screenshot of launcher window just before closing it.
Also adding good_launcher_log.txt - which is from the working 2.1.2033 launcher - trying to play the same instance of Minecraft.
The download of https://launcher.mojang.com/download/Minecraft-beta.deb at 18:30 PST (GMT -0800) is still 2.1.2339. I'm guessing the 2.1.2360 isn't staged there yet.
That version should now be updated. Sorry about that.
Downloaded and Installed minecraft-launcher 2.1.2364 - no change in behaviour - hangs at "Preparing...". Reverting back to 2.1.2033 - and everything works as expected.
Confirmed - downloaded 2.1.2466 - and issue is gone. Game launches as expected.
