Hey! This is in the wrong Project!
I can confirm this issue, my Windows Store launcher is stuck in the same loop. I've tried logging out and logging back in, removing my account details and re-adding them, no luck. My profile icon is also missing and on the login screen even my username is missing! I did nothing different than usual, just opened the launcher after a while, it updated, and it began bugging out. The only thing of note I did is change my email and password, but that shouldn't cause this right?
I managed to track a fix down! You need to log into the Xbox Console Companion app, then restart the Minecraft Launcher! We shouldn't need to log into another app just to use this one though... but it works!
Thank you for your report!
