MCL-22845Launcher Crashes while starting the game
I was on the game the night before, but it kept crashing when I tried to load it this morning. I tried to see if the issues dealt with the mods; however, even when taking all of my mods out, I received the same crash message. The crash message is the following:
The game crashed whilst there was a severe problem during mod loading that has caused the game to fail
Error: net.minecraftforge.fml.common.LoaderExceptionModCrash: Caught exception from Guidebook (gbook_snapshot)

Please make sure you delete any modifications and reproduce the crash in vanilla environment. Your crash log still looks like a modified environment (forge) in an outdated Minecraft version (1.12.2).
