You are unable to type in the Minecraft Launcher, no keyboard characters appear.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open your Minecraft launcher (on MacOS Ventura 13.2.1)
- Go to a place such as News or New Installation (In the Java section in the Launcher)
- Start typing
Observed Results:
Nothing appears
Expected Results:
Letters and other keyboard characters should appear

Looks like it relates to
MCL-15564and MCL-17889. In the video, you open the launcher first and then close a running instance of Minecraft.Does the workaround in
MCL-15703do the trick for you, or does it also happen when you open the launcher after a system reboot, for example?Hi!
