MCL-2993Executable Bit not set
When I try to open a fresh download of the launcher, I get a message saying that the jar file is not marked as executable. Now, I don't know if this can be fixed, but if it can, it would save everyone from going to nautilus/dolphin and marking the file as executable.
Environment
Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr (don't know if this matters, but running with the KDE Desktop Environment)

It's up to your HTTP client to set the executable bit after downloading.
