MCL-6157Game output stays open when the launcher is closed
I have show game output enabled on and keep launcher open on. Whenever I close the launcher after playing Minecraft, I also have to close the launcher.
I expected that whenever I closed the main launcher window, it would also close the other windows.
I don't know if this is a bug but, if it is not a bug, then it is a suggestion.
Environment
Windows 10, GTX 950, Intel 4690k, Java 8

Is this still an issue with the latest version of the launcher?
I can confirm this still applies today. This feature is working as intended (aka WAI) as we want players the chance of processing any logs after the game (and possibly the launcher too) is terminated. You most likely start log output for a purpose.
Furthermore we don't totally close the launcher process - we retain state and login information as long as your log window is open, to allow you to start the launcher again and still be signed in etc.
If you would like to option of being able to close the log window when the launcher is closed, you can submit a feature request on the Minecraft Feedback Site and we will consider it!
