MinecraftDev Launcher 0.5 process keeps active after closing
If you close the launcher, the window will disappear, however the process keeps running (noticeable on the icon and in the taskmanager). Some programs use that feature to close the gui and still work. But you cant reopen the gui without forcing the launcher to stop and then restart, either by CMD+Q or CMD+ALT+ESC on a Mac.
Edit: Can be clossed now, itr fixed in 0.6 (see: https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/327726169485111296 )

I can confirm that same thing happens on Windows.
After starting and quitting launcher for 5 times all the processes were still running without visible GUI.
Confirmed. Started the launcher and closed it repeatedly and now I have a bunch of "javaw.exe" running.
I can report the same thing for Windows 7 32x. When I tried to delete the older MCdev launcher, it gave me an error about the file still being active. I looked in taskmanager and saw the javaw thing, Had to end proccess on those before I could delete the old one so I can download and put on desktop the newer one.
So it's not just a Mac problem.
Edit: I looked at popular issues and apparently this is a duplicate (or at least an extension of) https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-1408 Then again, this one is for the new launcher,
MC-1408is for the old launcher version. Can be closed, is now officially fixed in 0.6 .
