Have you looked from different angles?
I also had this issue but with a different village, no village chest exists and it never respawned. It's just permanently gone, despite the map saying otherwise.
@Connor Caldwell, can you provide us with the difficulty of your world and the location of the village?
@Les3awe I started the game on legendary difficulty and the chest never appeared while on legendary difficulty. I've since changed to mythic difficulty, but did not change.
Resolving this issue as fixed as per https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/18367330571405. If you're still experiencing this issue please make a new bug report detailing your issue and include steps to reproduce the issue.
