Every time i tame a dog, the automatic default collar colour is white, and I can't change it. I can still change my cats collar, it's just the wolves. When I walk up to the wold with the dye, all it says is "stand". Idk if this issue has already been addressed or not, but it's really annoying

I am unable to change the dye color on either of my pets (one wolf and one cat). All they do is sit/stand when I right-click them.
Another ticket was similar to this (MCPE-101082), but it was closed due to inaction by the poster. Plus, those symptoms were different than mine.
This WAS working fine in my last game, which was also at 1.21.3. So it's probably a broken or corrupt file, but I have no idea how to find the broken file.
You have to sneak then hold the dye u want to use and it should work
@Ava: please let us know if Will Webb's instruction works for you.

I have the same problem. I didn't have a problem in my last game (or any previous). My problem applies to both cats and wolves. I'm at Java 1.21.2 with no add-ons. See 5826 on Windows 10.
And Will Webb's instructions didn't help. The cat (or wolf) just sits or stands instead of getting the dye color applied.
Never mind; I'll create my own entry. This one is a little different than mine (red vs. white).
