Block clipping
When walking, if in front of you is an air block and a full block on the level of the player head, the player clips into the block and begins to suffocate as if it were gravity blocks that have fallen on the player.

Does
MCPE-109925describe your issue?OcelotOnesie, no, the bug that you are suggesting that overlaps mine does not. The bug that I encountered does not include shifting hitboxes, nor does it require an elytra to cause. This causes simply by walking into a block at face level without a block being present at foot level.
Have you taken damage while your hitbox is different (e.g. while swimming)?
Skaijie,
I didn't notice is occurring whilst swimming, but I couldn't test with elytra since I couldn't take off due to the input lag.

Steps:
Hypothesis: Possibly connected to update in engine to process hitbox collisions with Powdered Snow blocks.
This also consistently affects my villagers.
Why do bugs constantly get marked as resolved on here when they are nowhere near resolved? This happens to me and others on my realm daily. It has nothing to do with elytra or swimming. As the original poster described, our heads clip through solid and semi-solid blocks (blocks, slabs, stairs, fences) and we take suffocation damage. Signing out and in usually fixes it temporarily. We've even had deaths caused by clipping through fences into lava.
