Farmland decays if it is dry when something is planted in it. At least in the nether.
I know that farmland is supposed to decay into dirt if it is dry for too long but it should not decay if there is something planted in it. The only effect should be that the crop grows slower.
This is what the wiki says when the farm land should decay.
"If the farmland block is dehydrated and nothing is planted on it for too long."

But I do have something planted in it.

Now whenever a carrot gets an update they pop out. Place a carrot then place another by it and they both pop out. In 0.17.0.2
Is this still an issue in 1.0.6.0?
Found fixed in 1.7.0.3 beta. Probably fixed before this.
