I cannot reproduce this bug on any of my testing devices...
Is the world you are playing in Creative or Survival?
Hi it was a new survival world I made today with the 16.0 beta 1. When I left the game and came back it went back to normal as it should smelt iron ingots. I had this bug in 14.0 as well. It has happened a couple of times. How is this resolved?
