Furnace recipes are incorrect (Produces Wrong Items)
When using the furnace to smelt items, some items don't produce the correct result. For instance, iron ore makes a bowl, porkchops make cooked salmon, and clay balls make an egg. However, some (at least one) recipes are correct. Sand still makes glass. I haven't tested anything else. All that is required after changing packs is to close out of MC and reopen the game. This fixes the glitch until the next pack change.

This issue is Invalid. The texture pack appears to (somehow) modify the behavior of the furnace, and Mojang can't do anything about that.

Andrew Davis Which Texture Pack were you using? Did you change any of the settings or game files?
Plastic and no
The bug affects all textures, even the default MC textures, and the glitch is triggered by changing texture packs.
A workaround on Android devices is to clear Minecraft PE's cached memory.
Actually, this is incorrect. All that is required after changing packs is to close out of MC and reopen the game. This fixes the glitch until the next pack change.

@Andrew Davis Is it possible for you to uninstall MCPE, and then reinstall it? You may have to back up any worlds you want to save. Let us know if this fixes the problem.

And no, reinstalling Minecraft does not fix the bug.
None of those recipes can be reproduced in the manner showed with or without Plastic Pack. The recipes are always produced correctly.
Can you attach a video or more examples of incorrect recipes with exact repro steps?

Added 0.16.0 Beta build 1 as multiple reports are coming in that is still occurring.
Fixed in MCPE 0.16.0 Beta (0.15.90.2).
This still happened to me yesterday with a new world with 15.9.0.2 smelting iron was gong to give me gold.
I've just create a world in creative mode, and smelting iron gave me iron bar (as expected). I've used MCPE 0.15.90.2, no mods and default texture.
Can confirm with using the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the glitch occurs when using the Plastic, Faithful, Soartex Fanver, or any texture pack that's available. However, when switching back to the default vanilla texture, only then the glitch stops entirely.
Confirmed for Samsung galaxy tab 4, no matter what item I smelt. It doesn't do it every time, but it happens at least once a day. No texture packs. Just vanilla.
Guys, i know what exactly triggers this bug. For example first time you entered world smelting recipies are fine, exit and enter back all goes up by 1 ID, exit and enter agin 1 ID more so on, until it reaches an unavailable ID which when you try to smelt causes crash and when you enter back, recipies turn normal.
Also this has nothing to do with texture packs.

No, it was even fixed in last build.
This ticket has been resolved as 'Cannot Reproduce' as it has no response was received recently.
