MCPE-25259being abled to place 2 double chests right next to each other
for some reason you can place 2 double chests direct next to each other
as also being a pc player this usaly shouldent be possible,maybe it is difermt on this version but i believe it is a bug

Not a bug. Chests must be oriented similarly to connect into double chests. If not, you can place single chests next to each other and turn them each into double chests. (Bonus: saves on the need for tripwire hooks)

usaly you have to have a gap between each double chest but i could thats why i think its a bug.
