I should mention that I have a texture pack that adds the coordinates on screen, and it is also the reason that my hotbar has a slight visual glitch.
See images. In some cases the
glowstoneblockand redstone torch are powered properly. In some cases, not powered when they should be. In some cases, powered when they should not be.See images. Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn RTX on with any RTX pack.
2. Put an item in your hand.
3. Snap the window to the left or right 50% of the screen. (any narrow window will work)Observed Results:
Hand position moves further and further to the left the narrower the window is. Turning off RTX fixes the problem.
Expected Results:
Hand position stays on the right of the screen

Can confirm. Repeaters do pop off if already on top of observers and the repeater is updated too.
Not a bug. Chests must be oriented similarly to connect into double chests. If not, you can place single chests next to each other and turn them each into double chests. (Bonus: saves on the need for tripwire hooks)
What is really weird is that if the slime blocks are chained such that the glazed terracotta is pushed when the piston pulls then the block is immovable. When the piston pushes then the glazed terracotta is pulled still.
Honestly, I really like the way it is now like this. So much potential for cool things that may not be possible when it works properly, but it is a bug.
I can confirm that this is fixed in the latest update.
Not quite. This redstone lamp shouldn't be powered.
I experience entities disappearing through nether portals, but only when a player is on both sides of the portal.
Example: If I push a villager into a nether portal from the overworld, and all players are in the overworld, then the villager will appear in the nether without issue. If a player is by the nether portal in the nether, then the villager will not appear in the nether. This occurs for any entity.
I just confirmed that this is still an issue. I just attached an image of new my testing contraption. If I load the world then the observer activates and the redstone lamp blinks just after the world is finished loading. This is particularly annoying for some contraptions.
MCPE-29548 is a duplicate of this issue, but that one is activate, so I look add a vote there.
Just found this ticket for this issue. I originally reported this as
MCPE-25840long ago but it got closed for inactivity."But they added, If the community can find a unique goal which is impossible to achieve without the toggleable sticky piston, and that goal makes sense in the world of Minecraft, then they'll probably rethink about it."
2-way flying machine contraptions are far harder (even impossible in many cases) to make without this feature. The fact that I can't use 1 sticky piston to push and pull the machine makes small 2-way flying machines difficult, and large ones impossible (without additional external contraptions that modify the flying machine to reverse the direction).
Yes, this is still an issue.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a villager that is a farmer
2. Turn on RTX
Observed Results:
Straw Hat on the villager disappears
Expected Results:
The Straw hat stays on the villager even with RTX on.
This happens to other villager professions as well. This is just the profession that I first noticed it for.
I usually play with youtube open on the left side of my screen and minecraft on the right, so that's why I noticed this. This didn't happen in previous versions, though I haven't played in a while so I don't know when this was added.
Here is a picture of my testing. The top row shows the issue with pistons and target blocks. The bottom row might be a different issue. I've got 1 single item in those chests for a signal strength of 1, and the redstone that's going up the side of the redstone lamp should power the lamps. This shows the piston and target block doing the correct thing, but repeaters, comparators, and dust not doing the correct behaviour.
Reply from [Mod] GoldenHelmet:
The bottom row is indeed a different issue. I believe the repeater, comparator, and dust correctly redirect the redstone power, and the dust on top of the lamp triggers an incorrect visual in the dust next to the lamp. Many tileable shulker box loaders use exactly this power-redirection by adjacent dust to make the block represented by the lamp in your screenshot sensitive to the change from signal strength 1 to signal strength 2.
