I'm trying to make a single village iron farm. The villagers notice that it's a village and breed but golems only spawn every 20 to 30 minutes.

In minecraft PC does not work like that?
If it is ... It's not a mistake.
Well, I don't play the Pc version much, but all the videos I've seen and the wiki says a golem has a chance to spawn once every 7000 game ticks which averages to one every six minutes. So it sounds like 3 an hour is not right.
However, I'll build this same farm on the pc version and report back.
This appears to be true, using the design in the attached test world, iron golems would spawn regularly (every six minutes sounds about right) - They do not seem to be spawning anywhere near as much now. Iron Golem Test.mcworld
Edit: Upon further inspection, I think the spawn rate might be WAI.
The wiki states that:
In leaving the test world running for ~1 hour, I collected 28 iron ingots and 10 poppies. This means that approximately 5 to 9 Iron Golems must have spawned in that time, which is only slightly less than average.
I think this is WAI. I believe I built the farm one lblock too short. I corrected and tested and I get iron golems spawning at a decent rate. Thank you
