Summary:
Fire renders through solid blocks at certain angles (depending on the layout of blocks). It becomes more visible at certain angles and when the player is further away.

This happens to me, but for all entities. It's been an issue at least since 1.5.2 Java version (a looong time ago). I usually just ignore it.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket has not been updated recently (~1 year) so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines.
