LAG!!!! PREVIOUS VERSION 1.11.X RAN GREAT
Horrible lag. Lag when doing almost anything. I noticed the video settings were forcefully changed. The Nintendo Switch cannot handle these new settings. Was changed from 8 chunk render distance to 12. Why? Lag still exists elsewhere though, changing the video settings back helps but doesn't fix the issue. This issue is already widely know across the internet, below is an attached article with more information.
