Armor and weapon drops are still not happening without enchanted weapons. Any word on when this might be fixed, @Don Cox?
It happens more frequently on realms than normal multiplayer for me.
Was their any particular steps you took to get the fish? which furnace type did you cook it in? how did you obtain the fish? any more info to try to replicate this would be greatly appreciated!
UPDATE
From further testing it seems that the bug happens most commonly when the game tries rendering chunks. Also, this bug sometimes cuts off the bottom of clouds as well as the top creating see through clouds. However, the sides are not affected by this bug.

After some testing I have found that a likely cause for this is one of the soul sand arms is touching a block. In your case, its obsidian to solve this just remove the block that's touching the arm and rebuild it. If that does not work remove the excess wither skull on the bottom right. This is definitely a bug but can be worked around!

Upon some more testing I found that if you have a one thick wall with end rods on both sides you can walk back and forth between them without having to use another pearl. you can also X-ray with this, just line up the edge of the block while barely inside the block. Also in survival you can walk back and forth fast enough not to take suffocation damage and X-ray without suffocation damage. Lastly, there is a safe zone on each side of the block you can breath in (so you wont suffocate.) It sounds super confusing but try it out and mess around a bit and it will make sense.

Have a great day!@DrownedZombie From what I could gather at the time I thought that java and bedrock shared some similarities in code. I have also seen Mods/Mojang report MC bugs as MCPE dups. So I think they share some similarities. Also, @Wesley the numbers/data at the top of the screenshot.
Maybe chunks not loading? I've heard of getting stuck while teleporting (
MCPE-41513) let me know if this is remotely like that.Maybe try to get a friend to go through the end city portal and see if that loads in the chunks. But tell them not to carry anything important.

After a little looking I found this on the gamepedia article about Endermen: Endermen will not teleport in the daytime while on soul sand unless they are damaged. So did they teleport by themselves or did you attack them first?

I believe they are supposed to drop their items. The gamepedia article says that if they picked it up 100% chance of them dropping it. If they spawn with armour/tools 8.5% chance of them dropping it during conversion.
I am kind of confused what is the bug that is happening?
That is because the chunks are not loading in try to leave and hen rejoin.
So the bug is that when they transition they drop their mob loot. However, they are still alive and are just drowned. Correct?

I encountered one the other day but there was only 2 members of the patrol. So I think its very rare that it will happen and might just be bad rng.

Usually the mom turtle will walk/swim to there “home beach” the place they spawned. That may be why this is happening. However if you are convinced this is not the case tell me in the comments and try to find more details about this bug. Thanks!

for example, the northern three blocks must all face south."

Have a great day!I looked closer in to mob spawning and I found this "There must be no players and no player spawn points within a 24 block distance (spherical) of the spawning block." You can find more info on the wiki about spawning blocks. So if you stay nearby the spawner or have a bed near it that may be the issue. Let me know if that helped!

It’s probably just super unusual RNG. Keep testing it though, and if it keeps happening let me know.
This is because of
MCPE-47907. Cobblestone smelted in a furnace gets a insanely high damage value. Honestly I would consider this a duplicate ofMCPE-47907. Because of that I would type the extra info on that ticket to be safe. Have a great day!
