Invisible Skin / Can't change into custom skin.
When I get to the home page and try to change my skin it's all invisible I've tried doing everything including reinstalling the game . And now I've lost all my worlds and everything I've worked hard for. I can't change my skin and when I join a game it says invalid skin corrupted.

Yeah it happened to me to! For some reason, bought pack skins work, but any custom skin I try to upload on my iPhone won’t work.
(I haven’t tried on android) Before you delete to save your worlds, take the com.mojang folder and copy it somewhere else then delete and reinstall. When the game reinstalls delete the new com.mojang folder and replace it with the old one. Then all your worlds will be saved. I like snooping in game files to see what I can change to my liking
This issue is also reproducible in Minecraft (version 1.14.60) for iOS/iPadOS (version 13.4.1).
Is there a time estimate for a fix?
Confirmed that for Android, version 1.14.60 does not cause this issue.
Could you please include an example of the skin which is not working correctly?
This skin used to work fine, now it doesn’t. I have even tryed deleting the skin file from Files (iOS) and retrying. It seems that the file is saved to Files but is not read correctly.

Matthew Stacey - Unfortunately that image is not a valid PNG skin file, so it can't be expected to work or be recognised by the game. Images that are synced to iOS often have their format changed, so that might be the issue you have. In which case, you will need to source a file that is a valid PNG skin file to use, or choose one of the marketplace or character creator skins.
An example of a valid skin file can be found in the add-ons resources at https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/addons/ - included in the vanilla resources there are Steve and Alex skins:
Could you confirm that these valid skin files work correctly for you?
Yes, those worked for me. I tryed putting in one of my other skins listed as “PNG” in iOS and it worked! But then I tryed that skin I shared which is considered “PNG” by iOS too and it didn’t work. I did a good bit trying to get it to work. This is the skin that did work...
I swear this one didn’t work before but I may have been selecting a JPEG version of it everytime. The wierd thing is that I converted both of these skins in the same app in the same way and they are both listed as PNG in iOS. Also that skin I previously shared used to work perfectly fine before when I put it in as JPEG like 6-8 months ago.
I have confirmed that it is still reproducible using the images you linked above with Minecraft version 1.16.1 running on iOS 13.5.1 using an iPhone 11 Pro.
This is caused by images which don't have an alpha (transparency) channel. The game shouldn't be accepting such images to begin with, since other parts of the game choke on it.
You want to make sure you use PNG32 (32-bit colour) when you save a modified skin image. If your image has 24-bit colour, it doesn't have an alpha channel and the game will choke on it.
I've double checked that the reference ping above does have an alpha transparency channel and still reproduces the issue.
I have been having the same issue ever since I tried to change my skin in game.
This happens to me too except it acts like the skin works and if I go into a game my skin turns into a Steve with a yellow shirt and black pants
I solved this issue by deleting the image inside the Minecraft>games >com.mojang>minecraftpe folder and redownloading the image file from The Skindex (where I created my custom skin). Now it appears the same as before.
(1.16.20 on iPad Air 2 running iOS 13.6)
I reported this bug too.
If this happens, you can delete the skin and use a different one.
