MCPE-62155Hunger Bar depleting rapidly while using stairs
While going upstairs the hunger bar depletes rapidly, it seems not to happen when going down.
After being on level 12 or so for some time then going up the stairs with near full hunger - hunger will drop as I ascend, and be near empty by the time I reach ground level.

I find this very weird as well
This doesn't sound like a bug to me, it sounds like you don't know how "saturation" works or don't know how to manage it. If that's the case, I recommend you read up on it on the Minecraft Wiki. Then, if you need more help understanding it, ask at one of the community support sites listed below.
If you already understand how saturation works, you're keeping your hunger bar and saturation level full most of the time, and it's still going down unreasonably fast, come back here and comment about what makes you think so. I'm going to close this ticket because I don't think what it describes is a bug, but if you update it or add a comment it will automatically reopen the ticket and we'll take a closer look.
