@Snapples, this crash has existed for a long time, and is caused by outdated or broken graphics drivers. This is not an issue the Minecraft devs can fix in the game, and for that reason it is invalid.
It's also fixable if another person on the server manages to break the vehicles in the short amout the player appears logged in.
The Game displays "Null pointer exception", the error message in the launcher is:
The as source mentioned Issue is about placing a boat in water, however i don't have that problem.
My problem is when using a boat/rideable object.
Vote for removal as duplicate.

MC-13623I also started a new map specificially because of the horses, but after playing for a few days now, I haven't had the luck to find some yet.
However I notice a vastly increased number of cows, almost as if cows are spawned instead of horses.
So I go with the screwed up spawning rates.
Is this supposed to happen with bred horses as well?
When breeding two horses, the foal isn't tamed from the beginning, thus despawning when leaving the chunk.
Is this really intended behaviour?
Having to wait until a foal is fully grown to be able to tame it to prevent loosing it?
Can this really be marked as resolved?
Updating the graphic-drivers does in fact not solve this problem.
In fact, this problem did not happen to me before, but only after updating Java to version 1.8.60 (x64).
Downgrading Java "fixes" the problem.

As I said, this is also caused by an update to Java in some cases.
In my case, the graphics drivers didn't change, and Java was updated.
However, you're still right stating that this is no problem on MC's side.
Is there already an issue for this for the 1.10 version of Java-Minecraft? The Issue exists there as well.
Is it a duplicate, tho? The referred issue covers rendering behind the player, mine is for in front.
Then again, the cause is the same for both problems.
Maybe the short description should be changed accordingly & additional information added.
That said, I approve and will watch the referred issue.
Still an issue in 1.0.6
I'm used to use lAlt for sprinting.
