My issue contains more information and was here first. I think MC-266105 should be closed instead as it is a duplicate of mine, not the other way around

This is an excellent example of a very small imparity between java and bedrock, that eventually add up to make 2 very different feeling games. I am impressed that you even noticed this, and I think the ears that are higher up do indeed look better. If imparities like this are fixed before they add up, java and bedrock might actually feel like the same game.
While this is a bug, it allows for some cool secret messages. while I was able to write on the back on macOS by positioning my crosshair just right, but you can just use a bottom slab, write on the back, and convert that slab to a full block by placing another slab
Why was my issue resolved and this one open? this one should be closed since it includes less information and is a duplicate of mine. I showed that they are not upside down, but rather rolled backwards 180 degrees, by showing thehitboxes.[Mod] turbo, technically my issue was created first, since mine was made 8PM yesterday and this one was created 10:48PM yesterday and is therefore, older than mine. I do not care who created the issue, only that it gets resolved but just saying.
Oh ok, sorry for the confusion. This screenshot shows that they are not upside down, but appear that way since they are in fact 180° backwards
I wonder if the game treats them as opague blocks, since they do not transmit redstone power and have a water texture on their sides when underwater.

Im my tests, it happens more frequently if the roof has air above it. Maybe they path into it?
