Its not a bug its were you placed the map on other item frames
Since 1.2!
It may not be a bug to you but for me it's very annoying
It was since 1.4.2 on all of the types singleplayer multiplayer and local server
Is anyone else having the same problem?
But it still happens in vinnila TMI does nothing!
Yes it's an Intel HD 4000
How is this closed because it can't be re produced. To reproduce this bug hold down W & A and than left click, or push space bar!
The interesting thing is that this graphical glitch does not happen in superflat worlds. Yes I have this bug too but it does not start in superflat worlds. Perhaps this could have something to do with world generation.
This was generated in 1.6.2 in a corrupted superflat world (I made the corruption my self)
I uploaded the 2013-07-12_09.25.25.png form my science experiment on how corrupted superflat worlds work. Also a fact when corrupting a superflat world it messes up the generation code so every few chunks are a big hole to the ground
By the way how is this bug "works as intended." I think that someone at Mojang should see the bug before works as intended is applied
In my experience this and also text in your inventory text turns white while the potion text disappears, but really I think Minecraft is swapping the colours of the text somehow.
@insomniac_lemon this bug was first introduced in the 1.7.2 prerelease which was only released to the public as 1.7.2 final
Ha, I toold grum on twitter that I'm not going to wait until 1.8 as that was the original plan, but to many people complaned about this. Seriously about a week ago it said in the mc wiki under upcoming features that this would be 1.8
The fix for the bug has been delayed untill 1.8 again:

@Jonathan Haas
Look near the top... It says: Fix Version/s: Future Version - 1.8?, See even here they changed it from 1.7.3 to 1.8. Also it could be that Grum fingered out how hard this bug really is to fix
@Gabriel Bertilson
I completely understand that, I just noted out that Mojang quickly shut their mouth about the fix in 1.7 and people got curios and curse decided to say that it will be 1.8 but its not 100%
@grum then I will keep my hopes up
@RandomDSplayer I could be server lag but it could also be a bug that has to do with the Singleplayer & Multiplayer merge back in 1.3 and then appeared in 1.4 because Mojang changed some of the code around. Well that's just my theory
@Talven81 It is still a concern but know one ever updated the version number
I run a HD texture pack I just want to use the HD version of your logo instead of the crappy 256x256 I want a 512x512 to make it feel more native to my TP (All I just want to do is have an HD version of your logo).
