Maps are randomly generated and the scroll to unlock does not always generate. When you load into Pumpkin Patch, open your map and check the number of available secrets in the lower left corner. If it does not say at least 4 (3 if you haven't completed Default?), the scroll for Arch haven is not available.
If f it is not available, simply use your game menu to return to camp and restart Pumpkin Patch. Repeat until you have 4 secrets.
If you are just looking to unlock Arch Haven, choose Default difficulty and an easy level. No need to kill yourself to just unlock the secret level.
There is another just to the left. did not get it in this map.
Did finally manage to open the chest by clicking mid roll. Man! that is tricky. Got to roll just right and click at just the right time.
Plus, gonna take damage when falling into the void.
Added 2 new screen shots. These are of the second secret chest. I have NOT been able to open this one yet.
In the screenshot where it looks like I am on the island, I am, but near as I can tell, it is a 1x1 block ledge and notoriously hard to land on. Even so, I was not able to reach the chest without falling into the void.
@Michael I am not after the achievement, but the gear inside.
the ability to see the room is NOT a matter of being able to rotate the camera. Rather it is the view that the map is loaded in. About half the time, the area is loaded in such that you can see and enter the room; half the time you cannot see and enter the room.
Sadly, when the area loads such that the room is not visible, the game still says there is a secret there. This secret is not accessible and we, the players, are effectively cheated out of emeralds and gear.
I have seen this with the Fireworks rockets as well. I do not use Final Shout on my armor, so that does not appear to be part of the problem. Thought it might be the bow enchant Infinity. but recently been using a bow without this enchant and still getting the bug, although it is less frequent.
My quick fix workaround is to remove the Fireworks rocket from the action bar, then put back on.

Access to these could be greatly improved.
