Just had same issue trying to redeem code from java account, code is redeemed on the Mojang website but upon following the Microsoft store page link (opened in chrome browser) it is then declared the code has already been redeemed? (not sure if this account for the code being "redeemed" on the Mojang Web-page rather than just straight copying and pasting into the Microsoft store page?)
I am Currently having this issue where a minecart hopper is "steeling" from an adjacent hopper one block above: attached is you tube video link: https://youtu.be/mhNsP4oifu4
this occurred both before and after the 1.16.1 hotfix for player skins (unrelated but thanks for that fix)
I am led to beleave this is not expected behavior as was not part of any tutorial. can I please be updated if this is the case?
edit- this is on PC bedrock and might be suitable for its own thread
This issue is considered fixed, but there have been recent comments that need to be addressed.
If you no longer see your own player wearing another player's custom skin, but instead see other players wearing a default (Steve or Alex) skin or a Character Creator character instead of their custom skin, that has been determined to be Working As Intended. It is caused by a new Settings toggle on the Profile tab, named "Only Allow Trusted Skins". -Turning off this toggle will enable other people's custom skins to be visible on your computer.- Correction: There is currently a bug that may be preventing this toggle from working. The issue is being tracked as MCPE-78206.
There were some comments that said this issue wasn't fixed, but didn't mention any ongoing symptoms. We therefore don't have enough information to decide whether they're still having the same issue or the one caused by the new setting. If you still see your player wearing another player's custom skin, or you play on a server with other people who have this issue, please comment below and, if possible, provide a screenshot.
There was only one comment that both said it wasn't fixed and provided video evidence that confirms that it was this same issue. However, the world in question was on Realms and the video was recorded 5 days after the 1.16.0 release. It's normal for there to be some delay before a new release appears on Realms, so that's a possible explanation (although a delay of 5 days seems larger than usual to me).
Since there were hundreds of people experiencing this issue but almost no recent comments saying that it's still happening, and since the few comments we have can be explained as a different issue, I am leaving this ticket resolved as Fixed, but if we get any comments that convincingly demonstrate that this same issue is continuing to happen, we will reopen it.
Michael Geeson: Yours is the comment with video I referred to above. I expect that the issue has resolved for you now, but if it hasn't please comment ASAP.
FINALLY GOT TO WORK! ((-Free code from Java account to switch to Windows))
this code as it turns out will only unlock Minecraft Windows EXCLUDING all the other guff like 700 mine coins and other stuff on the Microsoft Store. The only way I found the basic windows Minecraft is by looking at the game packs content manually selecting Minecraft Windows, which usually pops up saying is unavailable to purchase outside of the game pack. Upon finding this it showed the game was owned and available for download! why the Mojang website links to the Game Pack and not just the Minecraft Windows game is beyond me?
Hope this helps anyone else who has same issue
I have this on my bedrock Realms sever between players - strangely it is only affecting those on the same Internet at present - another player (also on PC) is unaffected but sees players as in the same skin, even though they are in differnt skins.
ill try to attach a video from Xbox game bar(please note all players are curently on the same version and on PC)EDIT - VIDEO IS TOO LARGE FOR TAGGED IMAGES - YOUTUBE LINK : https://youtu.be/3n2ha_p-gDo
Thank you, i had failed to see the other and sadly the search is a little overfilled with other similar posts, my apology's

It was discovered whilst following a tutorial for a Bedrock super smelter and occurred both before and after the 1.16.1 hotfix for player skins (unrelated but thanks for that fix)
this is on PC Bedrock
my apology's for having created an unnecessary thread elsewhere
is there no way to remove duplicates completely as this is as much as a distraction as the others that lead me to create this post?
thank you ill try harder with more searches in future to try to find other threads - and just discovered how to filter for only open reports, thanks again and will make sure not to repeat this
