i think they have the old hitbox before the animation was added.
this also happen to corner stairs
also if you hit them with a knockback sword they glitch into the wall this happens since the SP & MP merge
i think this is a bug cause this is looking really weird you eat the stew + bowl

its not only a boat bug it is also happening to minecarts.
