After I activated a raid, the first wave of pillagers spawned underground. I spend dozens of minutes looking for them. The Iron Golem in the village was looking straight down a block so I knew that the pillagers would be directly somewhere under that block. I eventually found them all stuck underground , but it was clearly not meant to happen this way. Other raid waves were fine.
Moe: Since the old ticket was closed a long time ago, creating a new report was the right thing to do. If you had only commented on the other ticket, I know I would never have seen it, and I doubt any other moderators would either.
Considering how much the game has changed since 1.0, it's probably not the same bug anyway, just another bug causing the same symptom.
I am confirming this issue because I found 2 zombies stuck inside a tree just last night.
This was originally reported in MCPE-10218 and was closed as Fixed in 0.14.0 Beta 3. [MCPE Helper] Aspergerian reported it happening again in 1.0 Beta Build 2. Then Moe reported it again in 1.11.4 and created this ticket since the earlier one hadn't been reopened. Then last December Brian reported it happening again in 1.14. Those reports were all on the earlier ticket, so this ticket doesn't appear to have corroborations by other people, but in fact there are some.
This issue is a duplicate of the following issue: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-45207
My bad, I'm new here and thought that the linked issue was posted for another platform than Win10 thus made a seperate issue post. Sorry.
Update: going back to the coordinates where I lost my tamed pets, they suddenly spawned and started following me again. I was on a boat in an ocean.
Suddenly after a few minutes travelling they disappeared again.
This kinda confirms how they disappear from unloading chunks or whatever it has to do with chunks as they reappeared again when I got back.
I am having the same issue. But this is happening in my own Survival world, NOT in realms. Whenever I try to leave the nether and go back to the overworld, I get stuck on "Building Terrain", where the only thing I can do is exit the window and open the Minecraft game again. When I re-join my world again, I could find myself in the overworld where I am supposed to be, or in the Nether but going back to the overworld would work this time. Trying it again on the same session would reproduce the same issue.
Hope I was clear.
I also am having this issue. Each time I exit the game and open it again in order to get around the infinite "Building Terrain" screen. After opening it again I'd find myself back in the overworld, but spawned next to the Nether portal actually, not where I would have spawned if I used it. This issue has been happening every time I exit the Nether for the SECOND time. Every first time works fine but it could have been a coincidence that it is happening the second time I try to get back to the overworld.
This has happened in 1.11.4 on Windows 10 as well.
The bug has happened again today. I've inserted a capture in my comment. We can see the trader villager with the llamas spawned in the water and appearing normally, but the chunk is just invisible.
I'm still unfamiliar with the use of Jira. The link you provided was marked as resolved a few years ago. How can I mention that the bug still exists?
This is still happening in my worlds in the latest version of Minecraft Windows 10. (v1.11.4). Please re-open this issue.
This happens with me a lot. When in caves, I try to put water near lava to make some cobblestone/safe way to walk on. Instead, they don't interact in any way. Water just stands on smaller lava falls as it they're a separate block and do not interact as they should whatsoever. Next time I reproduce this bug I will make sure I take screenshots to share.
@GoldenHelmet The file attached does not seem to show the continuity of the problem. Although they are not following you, have you tried getting out of the boat to see hat happens?
Last time I played MCBedrock and reported this, tamed animals wouldn't even follow / teleport to you even after you get out of the boat and get on land .. Unless you go back to where they were left and let them follow you again.
