The animation plays really slow, this is due to the fact that the new lava animation have shorter length compared to the old one, the texture changed but not the speed, therefore the new one is slower.
Noticeably jerky/weirdcamera movementNoticeably jerky/unnatural camera movement
This has been a problem since beta 1.13.0.1. The camera excessively tilts when you're walking or running, it also tilts down a lot when you're jumping. It wasn't like this before 1.13. Talk about the new first person animations and bugs. The hand position isn't the same as before either.
Oxygen bar appears whilesuffocatingOxygen bar appears when the player is suffocating in a block
The bubble/oxygen bar appears when you are inside of a block. Lava isn't affected, however, regular blocks do, this is not an unintended behavior.
How to reproduce the issue: Suffocate yourself in a gravity block.
Expected result: You should take damage because of suffocation and the oxygen bar should not appear.
Observed result: The oxygen bar appears and depletes as you suffocate.

Hand(s) invisible while holding a map
Apparently when you hold a map in the latest beta, your hand(s) isn't visible, even when the map is in your offhand. This also relates to the fact that your hand movement did not sync with the map in previous versions.
Please pay attention to the health bar. When the play takes damage or heals, the health bar does not flash twice correctly, it only flashes once and stops flashing after that.
When you take damage the health bar now flashes (still only once not twice) after losing a heart. Not half-a-heart. A heart. This means that if you were constantly taking damage, the health bar will now only flash three times for every ONE heart you lose and then it stops flashing after that. This does not happen you regain health. Previously (as represented in the video) randomly the hearts would flash after regaining one health point or half a heart. Now, it doesn't do this at all. The hearts still rhythmically dip down to visually show that the player is regenerating but there is no flashing at all when it happens.

Steps to reproduce:
- Create a world in Creative mode.
- Give yourself the Poison effect.
- Watch the health bar slowly losing health then remove the effect, observe it again as you slowly heal.
Expected result: The health bar should flash white every time you lose or gain health like on Java Edition.
Observed result: The health bar rarely ever flashes white.

Food particles spew everywhere when you're eating instead of spewing out from the food item you're holding. It worked properly before view bobbing got changed (before 1.12).Repro Steps:

When you die, the death screen immediately appears instead of fading in, note that "Screen Animations" option isn't off.
Moreover, the screen doesn't rotate, it only zooms in.
Giye I had reported that a while back, but I've looked at your ticket and it has way more information. It'll be the main ticket now.

Also appears when you're sufficating.
Isn't that exclusive on Java?
I don’t think that’s a feature, if it really is an animation, then why does the hand disappear most of the time? It’s supposed to always fly out of the screen if it’s a real feature.
If it really is then it needs to get fixed and there needs to be one for swimming too.
I don't think that's a bug.. Same thing happens on Java.
Have you noticed that when you're facing North, your screen bobs left and right, and when you're facing South, your screen only tilts left and right? This is another issue that is bugging me, people in the beta program and other people who is playing on 1.13. MCPE-56214
You can, just barter with a Piglin, this isn't a bug.
Thank you Euwill. I will add that to the report.
Still affects the latest version.
Still happening.
it's because the block has just loaded in, not the texture of it, just like chunk loading, doesn't happen with the old engine though
the cursor on both java and console actually follows
if it were actually blinking it would flash for a split second, i dont see it flashing at all
i much prefer the old 1st person position more tbh, closely matches console edition and it didnt obstruct the view as much
The screen finally tilts when you die now, but it doesn't play the hurt animation when you die, it just immediately zooms in and tilts, neither does it fade with screen animations turned off.
This has been fixed along with the jittery item drop animation.
This still affects the latest version.
