NetherRain23, your screenshot shows that smooth lighting doesn't work on the surface of the water, and that is currently being tracked in MC-227302.
Hmm... for me minecraft just launches up normally
i used fast in the video but still happens on fancy
in fabulous graphics it doesn't happen but I have a bad computer, so if i use fabulous it just makes my game lag

You can't catch fish, and I don't exactly know if the bobber gets destroyed in lava. The black string still appears.
I went into spectator mode, and this is what I saw.
Note: my head is in the lava.
