Well, i don't know what 1.6 snapshot is the fix version but it has been fixed.
I know how this has come. Carpets break when block is removed on bottom of the carpet? Well, fix to this is here: Make carpets pulled by sticky piston and increase time before breaking.
There is over 56 duplicates to this bug!
