Confirmed for 1.10 with the command by ZhangYu. For some reason the drop first falls from the negative z side of the command block, but then suddenly appears 6 blocks farther in the positive z direction.
If your laptop has both Nvidia GeForce and Intel(R) HD Graphics, you can go to the device manager (win+r, input devmgmt.msc), and then find display adapter(? I'm not sure this translation, I'm using Chinese version), forbid the Nvidia GeForce.
And then you can enter the game, for me it does work.
