I recently updated my computer to Windows 10 build 10122 and have since had an issue with Minecraft. My screen has black edges around it. I've tried reinstalling, downgrading (version 1.0.0 alpha works without black edges), reinstalling Java, using the .exe and .msi. None of these work. I also reached out to Mojang support but received no help. The game works perfectly fine in full screen though. The issue seems to be in windowed mode only. I've seen the issue in 1.7+.
That is true, but I've also experienced this glitch in Windows 7 as well before. (I don't ask about 7 because I don't use it anymore)
I also think Minecraft should have some support prerelease because Microsoft owns the game now.

dit: Mobs only burn underhalf slabs.Monsters will burn underneath half slabs. Despite being protected from sunlight, monsters that can burn in the daylight will burn underneath half slabs, regardless of whether it is a top slab or a bottom slab.
Endermen also take rain damage underneath half slabs.
Once you place a full slab block over the monster, the monster will stop taking damage.
This video partially demonstrates the issue, although it doesn't include endermen in it.

When attempting to upload a pre-existing map to a Realm, the game will either crash you back to the dashboard or will hang on the "Initializing Upload" screen (while also reporting the maps size as 0.00MB) until a failure message is given.
I have attempted this with a few maps. Out of my testing, superflat/maps with small file sizes can successfully be uploaded to a Realm, but larger maps cannot (62.2MB in my case).
EDIT: When the game gets stuck on the "Initializing Upload" screen, my Internet does get very slow, so the game is doing something. Eventually it just times out (it definitely sits on the screen for too long. My internet is slow, but 60MB should be uploaded in less than 5 minutes) and gives me an error window ingame with no text in the box, but "Failed" as the title.
I have the same issue with Windows 10 beta. I guess we'll just have to wait to see if Microsoft somehow fixes it. But since Microsoft now owns Minecraft, they should have some minor support for the game.
I was able to replicate this issue within my game as well. I'm running beta build 4.
This seems to be a commonly reported issue. The GUI within the beta seems to lag in general.
