When I tried to backup a 1.12.2 world or another pre release, the game crashes.

When I tried to rename my item back like I used to do, only the first letter of the previous name. I searched for this bug and I wrote ''Rename'' ''Undo rename'' and ''Anvil'' and the bug I searched was not there. Please, I hope it's not a duplicate, works as intended or invalid. In the picture, I did that with a raw porkchop, but it does the same it every items like Name Tags, Spawn Eggs, Elytras and more.
The bug is not the fact that polar bears attack foxes. Just look when I hit a polar bear and the fox I spawned and see what happens after I hit them. Hint: look at the movement.

Someone decided to be rude and resolved my report as invalid. >: (
I hope it will be fixed, or a duplicate that I didn't found. If you find a duplicate, please notice me and I will vote it to be sure it gets fixed. For pre5 or pre6 not older version because I can backup without problems in pre4.
Thanks.
I have this problem too. I first saw this issue back in 1.13pre5.
I witness this bug when I tried to have dolphins in my aquarium. Even if I renamed like Joey, Allison, Magalie and more, I noticed that they are gone. But, if you are in creative, you can use the {PersistenceRequired:1} nbt in the summon command for the mob and this is how I got real dolphins that doesn't despawn.

This is what I've done and nothing pop up and by the way, the original did not mention the cooked variant. (; We probably posted it at the same time. I think this is what happened and the one that you claim was the original was the first one you saw.
No. I'm on a singleplayer world. I send a link to an unlisted video to demonstrate what's going on.
I updated my post. Watch the image. I wait for an explanation.
The last data pack I made was for Minecraft 1.13. I only made a custom crafting for the elytra, trident, and dyes from corals. I will disable them and I'll check.
I wasn't fast enough for the screenshot.
When you hit a mob, it will be delayed. It will fly for a few seconds before landing.
When will this bug be patched? It annoys me.

Where's the same bug, but for Java edition?
Just look at those images I posted. Just see one by one to see what's going on.
Man, I am glad soul soil is renewable and this was labeled as "Works as Intended".
Try with different mobs and see if it prioritize the creeper over a cow for example. You can see snapshot videos and they tried to see if goats attack creepers and yet, in the videos, they don't.
I think it was only meant to be activated by sensors. There was likely a code that was there that didn't tell the difference between a signal from a lever to a sculk sensor.
