I was poking around the textures for a project I'm working on, and when I overlaid the leather_layer_1_overlay on top of leather_layer_1 in Photoshop, I noticed that the trim on the back of the cap is off by two pixels. Sure enough, when I looked at it in-game, the trim ends two pixels above the bottom edge. I thought it might just be a lazily implemented stylistic choice (like someone wanted it to end there so they dragged it up rather than delete the bottom two rows), but the darkened top and bottom rows suggesting outlines makes me think it's a mistake.
(I mean, if it is like this on purpose, I understand; it'll still be good to have it listed among the closed issues in case people stumble onto this in the future and wonder if it's a bug or not.)

@Nate I tried that and it gave me the same error.
Is this still the case? Because I downloaded the latest .deb file onto a freshly-installed Kubuntu 19.04 and I'm having the exact opposite problem: It's refusing to run the installer because of a dependency on either oracle-java8-installer or openjdk-8-jre, neither of which are available anymore because they're obsolete.
I'd say this is less of a bug and more of an oversight; all mobs behave this way, but villagers should be specifically blocked from dropping down onto crops. Either that, or village generation needs to be tweaked so that composters aren't directly next to farms.
