Changed Description:
I opened my world in 1.8.1-pre1, and there were a bunch of peony tops floating in my world. I hit a few, they didn't drop anything (which i expected.) Also, it was a savanna biome, which doesn't generate peonies.
EDIT: The peonies disappeared after a while, but its still a weird bug.

Just because YOU can't reproduce it, doesn't mean it is resolved. I am still having this problem.
@Sonic I used Minecraft Skin Studio Lite, the official one.
Okay, now I'm thinking the skin studio is possibly bugged, but I'm still not sure. I guess all I can do is wait for 1.8.2-pre2 (or just 1.8.2) and hope this gets fixed for me.
@Lucas Two things: I said the affected version was 1.8.2-pre1, and also I'm wearing a "jacket" layer (introduced in 1.8) in the screenshot. So no, I am clearly not playing in 1.7.10 or earlier.
I did search for similar bugs, and nothing came up. I can see how the two bugs are the same, but in my opinion, it was very unlikely for me to come across this bug while searching.
I think the SkullOwner tag was removed because of a security issue or something. I don't remember exactly.
I think this is intentional. In the console edition, the Ender Dragon hovers above the portal and shoots ender acid. But since you were in creative, he wasn't hostile towards you. Try fighting it in survival and see what happens. If he still does nothing, I don't know what to say.
So what do I do after I click "Open Game Dir"?
