i've tested it with tile drops enabled and it still doesn't work

Setting doTileDrops to true will not stay set to true. It will work for a few hours/minutes and then it will not work anymore and I have to set it back manually. It's very annoying especially when a creeper blows up a build and you have to get replacement blocks.
I don't understand if this is a bug or an issue with me disabling something, but I don't see a setting for Tile Drops in the world settings.
There are no commandblocks enabled, there are no other operators of the server, and there no datapacks installed. The only commands I have used are /scoreboard to add the sidebar, as shown in screenshot(s)

Ah that fixed it, thanks! But, I was thinking about the fact that some people use vanilla, and don't know how to use /gamerule and such.
I've encountered this issue in later versions. It's definitely a major bug that should be fix within the next few versions.
I'm not sure it is, because the only gamerule I've changed is keepInventory: true.
Commandblocks are disabled, and there are no datapacks installed. No one else on the server is an operator, except for me.
Update: I'm still experiencing the issue. I've tried re-uploading the world, seeing if that fixed it. It didn't. The issue is persistent and won't go away, the gamerule will even change while we are online.

You can get sneak attacked by them because they don't make sound.

They make swimming sounds in actual water it doesn't make sense that they don't make sound when they're swimming in lava as well.
