Bright spots below /fill-ed platform
This bug was already reported in:
This is NOT a duplicate of MC-55730 (which seems to have been fixed in one of the 1.8 releases). We created a new issue since the other ones are all closed as duplicates of this one.
Steps to reproduce:
- Spawn a big (~50x50) stone platform using fill (you can build it by hand if you're brave enough)
- There are bright spots below the platform

Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.12.2, or the latest 1.13 development snapshot 18w07c) of Minecraft?
This bug has already been fixed: To reproduce this precise issue, use version 14w21b and do the following:
- Place a torch
- Clone a large area (~4000 blocks) of air onto the torch
- The light is still there, even after relogging
