No sound with error code "error starting soundsystem" - "Invalid Device"
Starting today I have had no sound on Minecraft and when I look in the log I see it says "error starting soundsystem". When I press f3+t it doesn't fix it.

I tried many things after reporting this issue yesterday and i found something interesting :
It seems that minecraft does not recognize the "surround" mode of audio devices while "surround 5.1" and "surround 7.1" work.
I also encountered similar issue to this.
It seems that game can't start SoundSystem because it's somewhat maybe incompatible with my audio interface (UMC204HD). I've tried to reload sound files, reinstalling the game and even some mods.
I've tried different sound drivers.
I wasn't able to get it working.
Is this still an issue in the latest Minecraft release and/or snapshot?

Yesterday, after reinstalling my graphics drivers, I was able to launch a game with my logitech headset. But when I restarted the game, it stopped working.
I tried flashing my bios too. I was able to log in once with my headset, but it didn't work again.
When I close the game after the sound error, I also get the following error:
"This crash may be due to an outdated graphics driver or conflicts with screen recording software.”
My drivers are up to date and I don't have any screen recording software.
