Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a bow
2. Spawn a pig
3. Put a saddle to the pig
4. Shoot an arrow with the bow
5. The arrow will stop.

Well i tried it on an old computer and same is in the end.
In 1.4.2pre on a local single player world, my arrows fly just fine while riding a pig. Haven't tested this out on a multiplayer server.
I too was able to fire arrows while riding a pig without any issues.
ive had something similar hapeen to me, and it sounds like it happens to a few people. arrows just stop in midair when shot, even if you are not on a pig. i found exiting the world and reloading it fixes the issue. this is on single player by the way.
Closing issue as we're not able to reproduce this.
