Using the autocomplete function in chat (tab) disconnects clients in multiplayer
open chat bar type "/" press tab and got a
"internal exception: java.io.IOException? Received string lenght longer then maximum allowed (310 > 100)
sry if this is a duplcat but did search "tab key" and didt see this bug

When the forward slash is typed, in chat and TAB is hit you're kicked with the following message;-

This issue has not been resolved in version 13w21b. The same error occurs.

Can confirm it's still present in 13w23a. Though to note, as I don't see this mentioned here: This only seems to occur if you haven't already started typing anything, if you type g and then hit tab, you'll correctly get the list of gamemode, give, and gamerule. Same also appears to apply to any arguments the commands take, if you've started typing, you're good, if you're hitting tab with nothing entered, you're gonna have a bad time.
I've tried using TAB with /gamerule, just /, and blank. I can't reproduce it. But considering the message, does this have to do with different languages which may require more characters than the primarily supported languages? AKA does this effect those using some of the languages mainly supported by the translation site and not the staff?
I can confirm this is still a present bug in the snapshot 13w24a, server jar file.
To reply to Louis' question, yes on the default language pack.
