MC-197151Drowned are invisible and cannot be hurt
When i'm playing minecraft version 1.16.1 i can't see where are drowned but i can see tridents that they are throwing. Also when I'm trying to hit them by deducting from where tridents are flying this is impossible. Summarizng they are invisible, they can give me damage but i can't give damage to them.

I have had the same problem as well.
Unsure how to recreate other than for a drowned to spawn like this, but I simply was looking for drowned, came across an ocean ruin, and noticed two tridents being thrown at me. I tracked down the location of one of the Drowned and yet it was invincible and invisible, except for the projectile it throws at me. The other one is invisible as well.
Please note I had encountered two other Drowned before this neither of them with tridents, and they showed up just fine. This may only affect Drowned with tridents.

EDIT: Just realized I loaded the game with Optifine, and this is not pure vanilla. Sorry. When I get the chance I will reload the world in vanilla Minecraft. If the issue persists, I will take new screenshots.
