MC-206826Barrier not working

I fixed it. It was a data pack that I installed a long time ago, not a bug.
So in one of my 1.14.4 worlds all my barrier protections disappeared. Every time I would place a barrier block it would disappear right away. That fast, that I didn't get to see the red sign or whatever it is. Even if I upgrade this world to a newer version of mc that glitch is still there. All my other 1.14.4 worlds don't have that problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have been playing minecraft for four years and now I got this bug which ruined all the fun. So in one of my 1.14.4 worlds all my barrier protections disappeared. Every time I would place a barrier block it would disappear right away. that fast, that I didn't get to see the particles. Even if I upgrade this world to a newer version of mc that glitch is still there. All my other 1.14.4 worlds don't have that probrem.

What is your 'Particles' setting in Options > Video Settings set to?
Is the barrier not allowing anything to pass?
It's all fixed! It was just a data pack that I installed a long time ago. I disabled it, and it worked!
