MC-226367Minecarts face always face west after rail is broken
I was playing around in creative mode and noticed that Minecarts placed facing east would flip when the rail under them was broken. Intrigued, I tested what they would do when facing north. They flipped west. I could only notice this because I used a Minecart Furnace and a Minecart Chest.
Something else interesting about the Minecart Chest is that the front of the chest appears to face backwards from the entity's actual position. I don't know if this is intentional or not.
I'm quite sure that this is present in every version since at least 1.12.2, since it does it in that version as well.

MC-82647etc...Can confirm in 1.17 and 1.17.1 Pre-release 1. It's not the minecart itself changing directions, just the texture.
