The Bug:
The locks of chests within chest boats are positioned slightly too high.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon a chest boat.
/summon minecraft:chest_boat ~ ~ ~
- Observe the height of the boat chest's lock closely by comparing it with a regular chest.
- Take note as to whether or not the locks of chests within chest boats are positioned slightly too high.
Observed Behavior:
The locks are positioned slightly too high.
Expected Behavior:
The locks would be positioned at the same height as regular chests.

MC-170457Why exactly is this intended? It's supposed to be identical to a placed chest, but it is not.
In what way is a 14 pixel high boat chest supposed to be identical to a 15 pixel high regular chest? It's not a problem with the lock, it's you having a preference for the missing pixel of height to be on the bottom instead of on the top.
Did you actually look at the pixels around the lock? Those look identical to the full chest, but had the lock itself positioned 1 pixel higher. Also Mojang agreed and fixed this.
