Pressure Plate Sound Change
The sounds of metal pressure plate have changed since 1.19.3.
Metal pressure plate used to have a higher sound pitch than wood pressure plate but since 1.19.3 their pitch is lower than the wood plate, while wood pressure plate sounds unchanged.
I don't believe this is intentional because the pitch used to be hard coded in the game. The 1.19.3 sounds.json shows:
"block.wooden_pressure_plate.click_off": 0.7 pitch since 1.19.3
"block.wooden_pressure_plate.click_on": 0.8 pitch since 1.19.3
"block.metal_pressure_plate.click_off": 0.65 pitch since 1.19.3 (this needs to increase)
"block.metal_pressure_plate.click_on": 0.75 pitch since 1.19.3 (this needs to increase)
To bring back the normal sounds for metal pressure plate, Mojang needs to increase its pitch in the sounds.json probably to 0.75 and 0.85, or even higher.

This change wasmade at the same time as wood type sounds getting added, and, while not a source for WAI, [Mojang] slicedlime did showcase it in his changes videos, so Mojang absolutely knows this change was made. So seeing as it wasn't reverted, following that, it seems intentional.
Yep, I also think it's intentional.
