stat.fallOneCm does not display proper amount
When using the stat.fallOneCm objective for Scoreboard, the score does not show the correct amount. It will only increase whether you fall a long distance or a short distance. It seems to track the amount of times a player has fallen rather than the distance. However, it will sometimes increase by 2-3, but not for any obvious reason.
To replicate:
-Enter creative or survival with cheats
-Type "/scoreboard objectives add fall stat.fallOneCm Fall Distance"
-Type "/scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar fall"
-If you start in Creative, type "/gamemode 0"
-Jump off a small cliff (don't die though)
-compare the "Fall Distance" score to the fall distance listed in the "General" tab of the statistics menu
Environment
Windows 8 64 bit, Java 7 update 25, 6GB RAM (3GB allocated to JVM)

Confirmed.
Thanks, didn't realize I put the wrong word XD
Confirmed. Being able to track both the number of times fallen as well as the distance fallen would be very helpful for the map I'm making...
Also confirmed, MC 1.7.4.
This is the second issue I've run into today with stats. You get similar issues with stat.walkOneCm, as seen here:
https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-39139
I'd like to build a map based on The Hidden, but if the monster takes fall damage then there is no point continuing with the build. You can use resistance effects, but it also means the monster is resistant to pvp damage. If there were a fall damage status effect, a lot of this could be mitigated.
Confirmed for snapshot 14w04a.
Is this still an issue in 14w17a ?
MC-39139got fixed for 14w06aConfirmed for 14w21b:
Fall down 5 blocks:
Cannot confirm in 14w21b:
MC-55775)@Kumasasa I agree. I just tested it in 14w28b and the score updates. However, is it only supposed to update in Survival/Adventure modes, or is it supposed to work in Creative too? It only updates the stat when you are in Survival or Adventure and drop at least 3 blocks. If not, this can be marked fixed.
Falling is not counted in creative as well as flying (In fact if you sprint-jump in creative the air-time counts as flying)
