Tripwire/Minecart bug whilst trying to make automated minecart station
When making an automated minecart station (placing tripwires above the minecart to detect a player) i found that the tripwire will not set off when you get in, and the hooks will detach from the tripwire. When attempting to destroy it and rebuild it in the same place, the hooks will, again, detach from the tripwire. The automated minecart station can be found on SethBling's youtube channel.

I will add screenshots when i get the chance.

Can you please attach screenshots.
I made a simple player detector minecart station. I don't have access to youtube where I am (network restrictions) so I can't see what Seth Blings setup looks like but my simplified station works. See screen shot (2013-09-12_10.22.12.png)
Improved design works (screen shot 2013-09-12_12.35.33.png)... again not sure what Seths design is but I'm not seeing your issue with this design. Might be something else causeing your bug (note only 3 minecarts in system: on powered track, Next in que, and Ine despenser)
@Th3F4114n0n3, Are you using 13w36b? Because it only happened to me then and 13w36a. And btw the second screenshot is not what i am talking about. I will add screenshots when I get the chance.
The issue seems to have been resolved in 13w37a. Please disregard this bug.
