MC-36080All Blocks become invisible.
All the blocks and inventory items become invisible as soon as I use the numbers on my keyboard to select items in my hotbar. To get rid of it I have to totally reboot Minecraft or by pressing F3+S. Mostly seems to happen when holding a non-solid block in hand.
To reproduce:
1- Get into any world in minecraft.
2- Select non-solid block in hand (ex.torch, flower,ladder).

- Update to the latest graphics drivers (Catalyst 13.12):
- AMD Radeon HD 5xxx .. 9xxx (will solve issue)
- AMD Radeon HD 2xxx .. 4xxx (won't solve issue), but if you turn down the mipmapping in the Catalyst control center, the problem gets resolved too.

All blocks become black when I hold some items, including flowers, saplings, lever, all rails, normal and redstone torches and probably many more.
Going to the texture pack menu and pressing "Done" temporarily fix this (until I take these items again)
Workaround: Switch off Mipmapping: Game Menu -> Options -> Video Settings -> Mipmap Levels: OFF

Apparently this issue is affecting all older AMD graphics cards. There is an "updated" driver called "Catalyst 13.9" but the driver itself is not updated by AMD, still naming this ATI
Can not reproduce. Might be a graphics card problem.
Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.

MC-35881i am having the same issue and it happens with stained glass,lava blocks, and on some server instantly upon login + (ex.torch, flower,ladder).
