Game crash while killing slimes
I was just playing around with the new slime AI and started killing them in gamemode survival. The game crashed after I killed one. Tried it twice and it happened twice.

Game crash while killing slimes
I was just playing around with the new slime AI...
I ate a notch apple and started hitting slimes with a diamond sword. Then the game crashed. I don't know if the notch apple and the diamond sword caused the crash but I think the new AI of the slimes did it.Environment

Two stacks of slimeballs later, it still won't crash if I don't hit the ground.
Workaround: aim accurately.

I'm guessing this is related to
MC-47427.The crash may actually be happening when you miss hitting the slime and hit a block instead, which is confirmed to crash the game. When I attacked slimes on the ground, it would sometimes crash, sometimes not. I then killed several slimes with a bow without problem, and then it also worked with a sword while I made sure I could not hit the ground.
I couldn't get it to crash again when I made sure I was not hitting the ground. Does this hold true in your case too, OP?
